Wethaq Takaful Insurance – Egypt registered at The Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) on 14/2/2008 under NO. 23 as an Egyptian joint stock company subject to the provisions of the law NO. 10/1981, commercial register NO.36274, The Company has begun to engage in activity as of 2008, as an insurance company to carry on all types of Takaful insurance covering property and casualty.

The company is subject to the supervision and control of the Financial Regulatory Authority.

The authorized capital is 1 Billion Egyptian pounds.

The issued and paid-up capital amounts to 400 million Egyptian pounds distributed as follows

1- ADEEM Investment & Wealth Management Co. (Kuwait) Percentage 33%

2- A group of businessmen Percentage 67%

The company was established with an authorized capital of 200 million Egyptian pounds
The issued capital is 60 million Egyptian pounds
And a paid-up capital of 30 million Egyptian pounds

The Shari'ah Supervisory Committee is comprised of:

Wethaq Takaful Insurance – Egypt works in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Shari'ah law, under the supervision and control of legitimate Sharia Committee.
